Its Nolan's first movie, and it was done for 6000 Dollar (or Euro, I am not sure). So most of the commentary deals with how the movie was made, which makes it very interesting, especially for people who think about making a movie themselves. A bit similar to the "El Mariachi"-Commentary with R. Rodriguez. Nolan does not talk like a machine gun, though. He also talks about the non-linear structure of the movie and why he wanted it to be that way.

Oh yes, this is definitely Nolan's "El Mariachi" - spends most of the time just going over the details of how they got away with shooting most of it. Notwithstanding, he goes into motivations of the characters as well. I realized that Following was essentially preparation for Memento, especially the non-linear structure, because at one point he mentions how he connected the scenes through significant details and objects, as well as the passage of time through makeup. Just like in Memento.
