Mr. Bogdanovich’s track is a nice and breezy one. He repeats himself a few times and during the last half hour the comments get kind of sparse, but it’s a nice track nonetheless. He talks about Howard Hawks and the two stars, and gives out some production stories. He talks about the humour and about screwball comedies in general. He laughs along at the movie, as well, and points out the moments he thinks are funny. He also tries to explain the humour, which I think is a bit strange. Like in his ‘The Cat’s Paw’ commentary, he seems to talk about the length of shots and the setups a lot. The track is a nice listen, but nothing terribly memorable. It’s a nice way to pass the time if you have a commentary you want to listen to.
