Schickel is well prepared. He talks a lot about the friendship between Steinbeck and Kazan. The connection between their childhood and the book is also a topic.

A big point is also the acting (Actors Studio and James Dean). Schickel knew Massey and Kazan. He has good stories about them. He talks about Kazan’s career up to this movie. Schickel’s thoughts about the characters are also good. He mentions some very unusual points in the script for its time. He is a very good speaker.

This is a perfect track. 10 out of 10.
