This is actually a really good commentary. You can tell these two guys really liked the film. (Or at least more than the public at large seemed to.) They tell a lot of good stories, point out a bunch of neat things in the background, explain the testing and how they came up with their character fighting themselves, alternate story ideas that did not make it into the film after the Rock left, explain parts of the movie that are not obvious, talk about test screenings, and things the studio made them change, and call outs to bit players in the background. Just to mention a few.

At least one interesting story talks about Jet Li practicing a form where he was so fast it didnt show up on camera, and they hoped it would be an extra scene on the dvd, but is not! They think they might be the first film that had night scenes they had to light up to look like day time scenes, because they ran out of time on some days and just had to keep going. They discuss two fight scenes of Jason Stathams that were cut, because in the end they did not think anyone would care to see Statham fight. (This was a year before the Transporter came out.) And point out the Carla Gugino had two dresses, as the one she was walking in no one could sit down in.
