I am so disappointed no one else reviewed this commentary. This is the first Kurosawa film I ever saw (and in a theater!), and is now the last commentary track of his film that I have heard (other than the two films of his I still have not seen).

Prince understands that this is not one of Kurosawas message films, or important works, but that as his one true sequel, it was made to be entertaining. And he spends some time pointing out how well he made a sequel that was a completely different film, just with the same character, unlike most hollywood sequels that try to repeat the earlier films.

But as expected there are plenty of moments pointing out particular camera movements, angles, acting choices, and design choices.
