This commentary is a nice complement to this film. As expected, Taymor and Goldenthal speak mostly about song and musical choices, but Taymor drops useful tidbits about production choices, casting, locations, and some of the visual cheats they incorporated in realizing this film. They grow steadily more silent as the film continues but withhout extended gaps of silence: they do not miss too many beats. (See what I did there?)
