Instead of breaking down each scene or moment with lots of details, the director tends to go off on a several minute long talk about what we just saw, often the philosophical or deeper meaning behind the story. It is interesting in that he is probably right in that the whole point of the story is that Ender needed to believe he is in the game or else he wouldnt be vicious enough. And he isnt necessarily what we would call a good guy in that he is already pretty vicious towards his enemies.
There are some talks about how the special effects house went out of business in the middle of the shoot, why some battles from the books were removed, as well as the scenes that he thought were the most important. But this isnt a very detailed commentary track, more like a deep one.
Commentary 2:
Producers Gigi Pritzker and Roberto Orci
