An interesting commentary to a rather so-so film. They talk about the character of Tony and creating the banter for the characters. And how they were worried that the fire-like people were too much (I think they were).

This is a good example of a small commentary team that does fantastic together. A director/writer and additional writer. Perfect.

"Iron Man 3" has a lot of things that fans didn't seem to care for, and if you're one of said fans, I suggest you listen to this commentary. They go into detail about their reasoning and decisions behind certain ideas that may just help you see their POV.

If you're a fan of the movie, Marvel or Shane Black, I highly recommend this commentary track.

A decent listen but to be honest I was expecting more. I hadn't heard either of these gentlemen speak before but the commentary didn't hold my interest in the way, for example, Joss Whedon did talking about The Avengers or Kenneth Branagh on Thor. For fans only. 6/10

Not a lot of people seem to have bothered with this commentary, and that is too bad as it goes into some interesting variations that did not make it into the final film. And it explains a lot of the motivations as to why this film did not feel like what people wanted to get out of it, leading to disappointment.

I was hoping it would be funnier considering how clever of a writer Shane Black is, and other than 4 or 5 jokes he wanted to put into the movie that nobody else liked, or that he was made to take out, most of the laughs came from the other writer who pointed out little things that were not easy to catch.

Worth listening to, especially if you did not love this film as much as you wanted to.
