This ones slow and pointless. Gary marshal rambles on and has like of value to say. Avoid at all costs

Marshall's comments comes off as rather simplistic at times, as if he’s explaining filmmaking to a child. He had Edward (Gere) get dumped by his girlfriend at the beginning of the movie in order to make him more vulnerable so that the audience would care about this rich guy who has it all. Marshall is a Hollywood director and talks about how to make a movie for a mainstream audience – spell everything out. This is a fine track, I suppose, but nothing special.

I found Marshall's explanation of why he uses product placement and how it effects the final product to be interesting. For example, he added a scene in the film so he could use a particular vehicle in order to raise the money so he could have an expensive crane shot in another scene in the film. I felt that the commentary was overall honest and insightful.

Some people have unfairly called this commentary childish or over-simplistic. Garry Marshall does have that way of explaining things but it's more his South Bronx humour. He's trying to be entertaining whenever he can and often is. A lot of the jokes are told seriously and fly above or under the radar. I found it a very good, enjoyable listen. Lots pf great stories from the shoot. I was also surprised to see that this movie was released by Disney. Prostitutes, Disney? Marshall was a good choice. "This scene was shot after MANY cans of tunafish, now she's ( Julia Roberts ) feelin good". Or "A lot of the hotels refused to do this script because they said there are no prostitutes in our hotel. The Regent Beverly Wiltshire was the only one who said Welllll...one...might have come". I find stuff like that funny. In fact I find a lot of the stuff he says funny.
